An inviting porch on two sides invites us to relax while contemplating the landscape while a screened porch makes it tempting to share a meal with family or friends, away from mosquitos that would love to be invited. This is what this chalet has to offer from the exterior. Let's go and see what's inside.
Let us start in a large size foyer including a walk-in coat closet as any of this house type should have. Further, here we are in the activity area which is entirely open with abundant windows, which gives us the feeling of sharing our home with exterior nature. Then, a central lunch island in the kitchen is an essential element to the communion with nature and it allows the cooks to view the surroundings and not turning their back to it.
On second level, we appreciate a large master suite with a view on the panoramic side of the house, two secondary bedrooms and a chalet type bathroom, enhanced with a roof window to ensure natural lighting.

Good day and thank you for your interest in this plan.
Although we do no actual construction, the ballpark estimate to build this home in Quebec (Canada) starts at around $205,000. for the standard plan with a full, unfinished basement (8' high ceilings) but if you require a slab foundation, there will be an additional charge of $245. for the change and we do not have details about the building cost with this optional foundation.
This estimate is based on professional grade materials and includes ceramic in the foyer, the kitchen and the bathrooms with hardwood flooring throughout the common areas and carpet in the bedrooms.
The kitchen cabinetry is wood grain melamine and this construction estimate is for a turn key project and was updated in January 2014.
The cost of the land and its excavation, taxes and hook-ups to municipal or other services is not included in the calculation and it is highly recommended to consult local contractors and materials suppliers to get a better idea of the actual cost to build in your area.
