Comfort and panoramic view assured for this country cottage house plan with 2 large bedrooms
At the origin of many vacation home models proposing an interior layout with truly panoramic views and which you can view on http://www.drummonddesigns.com/, this one is even more interesting by the fact that it suggests a sheltered screened-in terrace in order to enjoy meals outside, safe from mosquitoes.
Inside, the comfort we refer to here is certainly notable with the activities center occupying the entire main level and proposing a beautiful kitchen equipped with plenty of storage, an airy dining room and a vast double living room with a corner fireplace in one of them. Also, there is a large storage area and a laundry corner adjoining the half-bath. And, above all, an abundance of windows spread over four facades, more particularly at the rear, for panoramic views.
On the upper level, this comfort translates into two remarkably sized bedrooms, each equipped with a good sized closet and sharing a complete bathroom whose brightness is assured by the presence of a skylight or roof window, for that interior ‘chalet’ look. Here, it would be feasible to convert, if desired, one of the two upstairs bedrooms in order to obtain three bedrooms while still having nice sized bedrooms.

The construction estimate cited is a ballpark figure to build this home in Quebec, Canada and was provided to give a rough idea only of the construction cost.
The best way to determine a more realistic cost of building this model in your area is to consult with local contractors and/or materials suppliers.
To this end, you can purchase the materials list prior to buying the plan if this option can be useful to you.

What is the difference between the Woodlyne 1 and 2 plans?

Good day and thank you for your interest in our plans.
The Woodlyne 2 (plan 4940) is the American version of this plan in which the stair configuration is slightly different to conform with the IRC building code.
Other than that and the 10 sq. ft. difference between the two they are the same plan.
If you would like to build this plan in the U.S. the 4940 is your best choice but if you want to build elsewhere, it's up to you.
