Can you get the prints to build this house without the second floor

Actually, yes it is possible but would have to go through our plan modification services for structural révision, etc.
However, Plan # 2939B-V1 is very similar and has no second floor. The walkout basement is finished but you don't need to finish it if you don't need it.
