Mountain style cottage plan with 3 bedrooms, a fireplace and mezzanine
This Nordic mountain style ski cottage plan (# 2957-V3) offers some very interesting contemporary additions to its original plan, #2957. Notably, the square footage of the house has been revised to reduce construction costs. Touchstone 3 (Plan No. 2957-V3) offers a total of 1876 square feet, excluding an unfinished basement to be converted. Note that several foundation options are available such monolithic slab, crawl space and others.
Firstly, at the main entrance you will find a large walk-in closet that can be very practical if you want to store skis or other sports equipment indoors. From there you then enter the living room with cathedral ceiling and a large central fireplace. The family area, kitchen, living room and dining room is open concept and offers lots of natural light. A setback bathroom allows use for your guests without access to your private master bathroom.
The master suite, advantageously located on the ground floor offers a reading area, a large walk-in closet and a bathroom with 2 sinks and separate bath and shower.
Upstairs, a mezzanine illuminates the two secondary bedrooms. One of them has a walk-in closet and a desk area. The other has a standard size closet and also a desk area. A shower room with two sinks and a private toilet area is provided on this floor.
An unfinished basement is excluded from the total square foot. However, you can arrange it according to your future needs, or simply choose a different foundation option when ordering your plan.

Often located above the garage, our storage areas are used only as storage and are usually accessible from the garage via a retractable staircase.
