Contemporary New American Home with large master suite and open floor plan concept
Amongst the models in Drummond House Plans’ contemporary collection, this split level model with a single car garage has been designed with a relatively narrow lot in mind. The family area in the back of the home opens onto a beautiful covered terrace that is 19’ wide x 10’ deep.
Following the example of plan 3407, from which the design for plan 3470 was inspired, the comfortable sized foyer and spacious closet are adjacent to a home office space complete with a walk-in. The open concept in which kitchen /dining room/living room areas are enhanced by a view of the fireplace. The large kitchen island adds valuable work space and a walk-in pantry are some of the features which enhance the livability of this contemporary styled home.
At the heart of the main level is the wide staircase which is open on two floors and offers the convenience of a powder room/laundry area on the same level as the garage with only 4 stairs to climb to reach the first floor level. Just 9 stairs higher is the second level and its master suite complete with a walk-in closet and a private bathroom that features a 5' x 4' shower. Two generously sized bedrooms and a separate shower room complete the upper floor.
