A wise house plan choice for a 4 season ski ou lakefront “chalet”
If you are looking for a home with a chalet feel and are torn between several Drummond House Plans, consider the features offered with this model.
Outside, in back is a beautiful, screened-in, covered terrace that enables meals and get togethers in total comfort, sheltered from the elements and without the nuisance of bugs.
Inside, upon entering the foyer one is pleasantly surprised by the ample storage space/mud room and a master bedroom with walk in closet along with the convenience of a full bathroom on the main level. The open floor plan of the living area is complemented by the ‘L’ shaped kitchen with its central island, an abundantly fenestrated dining room with access to the screened in porch and an equally bright living room with a beautiful corner fireplace and access to the porch outside with its stairway to the lawn.
Upstairs there are two large bedrooms, both with generous closet space, and a well appointed bathroom to add to the assets that make this a judicious choice if you are looking for a 4 season chalet to call your own!

Hello,
Is it possible for this plan to be built on a slab - but with three levels, the first being a garage (instead of a walk-out basement)?
Thank you!

We love it! Trouble is, we need this design completely reversed, and without a fireplace. Is that possible?
Thank you!

Customer service
Hello Mr Morgan! Thank you for taking the time to write! Actually, you can have this plan easily reversed and the standard fee for this is $150. As for the fireplace, if this is the only other change, it can usually be done with your builder on site. However, should you wish to have the plan without the fireplace, I could provide you with an estimate for the right reading reverse as well as the fireplace removal. Please let me know by writing to: modifications@drummondhouseplans.com
We look forward to hearing back from you!

Customer service
Dear Janet,
Thank you for your interest in Drummond House Plans.
The difference between plans W4916 and W4916A is the exterior wall coverings. On plan W4916, walls are covered with vinyl siding. On plan W4916A, walls are covered with wood siding (or a substitute such as Canexel).
The elevation (ridge height from top of foundation) for plan W4916 is 25 ft. It is 24 ft 8 in for plan W4916A.
If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
France, Customer Service Department
