Ecological one-bedroom small & modern house plan for a simpler lifestyle!
Created for a north orientation, the PUR mini-house has everything to meet your minimalist needs with its 784 square ft. Both compact and functional, this home will welcome you with a covered entrance threshold that can be used as outside storage out of sight.
Upon entering the house, we find ourselves in an open space which includes all the living rooms. The kitchen which integrates the dining room is located to the north. It is connected to the living room by a small office space with a view of nature. The living room, meanwhile, is embellished by a magnificent fireplace which will undoubtedly become the centerpiece of this house. This fireplace can also be admired from the mezzanine above the bedroom. This small, hidden space can serve as a hideaway or reading nook to get away from it all when you feel the need to. The exposed beams on the ceiling contribute to the warm atmosphere while adding a touch of character to the spaces of this mini-house.
To the south-east of the house, the master bedroom is fitted out with a view of the greenhouse. The latter having 112 square feet will allow you to grow fresh vegetables all year round and lead you to an independent lifestyle. In addition, the roof of the greenhouse has been designed so that you can easily integrate solar panels if you wish.
Despite the small dimensions of this house, you will find plenty of storage to meet all your needs. This little nest is perfect for a single person or for a couple with a minimalist lifestyle and wanting to get closer to nature.

Ecological house plan
There are many elements that can be added to a home to make it eco-friendly. For all the plans in our ecological collection, we identify the intended orientation of the house on the ground (see the logo in the image). In addition, all the plans in this collection include a wall section specific to this type of construction. Therefore, to ensure superior insulation, the walls are made of a double frame of 2x4 spaced 24 inches apart. The amount of wood needed is therefore similar to that of a traditional house that uses 2x6 spaced every 16 inches. In addition, these two walls are also staggered in order to cut thermal bridges as much as possible, that is to say the continuous elements that create heat losses from the inside to the outside of the house. The insulation material used in this wall cut is squirt cellulose. This is a 100% recycled material that perfectly hugs each of the cavities in the wall for optimal insulation. You have questions?
