Optimization and openness
House plan SHORE (# 90105) was designed to have no corridors and therefore no loss of space! Each square foot of SHORE has been optimized and assigned a function.
On entering the house, there is a large and private mudroom, which allows you to keep this area clean. The office is rapidly accessible from the main entrance as well, This is very practical if you have to receive clients at home.
On the right side of the house there are all the common areas in an open space with a cathedral ceiling. First there is the kitchen with its island and a pantry built into the wall, the dining room with bench which is directly integrated into the railing of the staircase and a large living room with an extra fireplace for cold days.
On the other side, there is a full bathroom with an isolated toilet and laundry chute, and the master bedroom.
Just before arriving in the basement, you will see that the landing of the stairs continue to create a cozy little nook that you can use to read peacefully or simply take refuge.
In the basement, you will find a large family room, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom isolated from the laundry room and a mechanical room accessible also for large storage.
The SHORE house (# 90105) will allow you to benefit from natural light coming from the south throughout the house. Compact, yet efficient, this house will provide you with everything you need!

To ensure superior insulation for each of our ecological homes, the walls are made of a double frame of 2x4 spaced 24 inches apart. The amount of wood needed is therefore similar to that of a traditional house that uses 2x6 spaced every 16 inches. In addition, these two walls are also staggered in order to cut thermal bridges as much as possible, that is to say the continuous elements that create heat losses from the inside to the outside of the house. The insulation material used in this wall cut is squirt cellulose. It is a 100% recycled material that perfectly hugs each of the wall cavities for optimal insulation.

Ecological house plan
There are many elements that can be added to a home to make it eco-friendly. For all the plans in our ecological collection, we identify the intended orientation of the house on the ground (see the logo in the image). In addition, all the plans in this collection include a wall section specific to this type of construction. Therefore, to ensure superior insulation, the walls are made of a double frame of 2x4 spaced 24 inches apart. This is a 100% recycled material that perfectly hugs each of the cavities in the wall for optimal insulation. You have questions?
