MAGNIFICENT AND LUXURIOUS HOME DESIGNED FOR THE CHARMING AND POPULAR VENTURA FAMILY!
The design of the Ventura house (#90112) was thought for a lot with a north-west facade. As soon as you approach the front threshold, you will be impressed by the effect of grandeur offered by this magnificent Farmhouse with double garage. Even for large families, it will be impossible to step on each other's toes in this noble residence.
On the ground floor, you will find a main entrance with a spacious cloakroom and a bathroom in addition to a secondary entrance connecting the garage directly with the back kitchen. And you are not dreaming, there is indeed a double height gymnasium accessible from the main entrance locker room. In addition, with its two islands, the kitchen has everything to be functional and accommodate many people. A breakfast nook, or “Starbucks” nook as the Ventura family calls it, leads directly to an office, perfect for working from home. The dining room, located to the south, offers a magnificent double-height ceiling bringing in light all day long into the large open area. Meanwhile, the living room can accommodate a large family to admire the fireplace.
Upstairs, you will be charmed by its vastness and impressive “open to below”. For all the plans in our ecological collection, we identify the intended orientation of the house on the ground (see the logo in the image). In addition, all the plans in this collection include a wall section specific to this type of construction. Therefore, to ensure superior insulation, the walls are made of a double frame of 2x4 spaced 24 inches apart. The amount of wood needed is therefore similar to that of a traditional house that uses 2x6 spaced every 16 inches. In addition, these two walls are also staggered in order to cut thermal bridges as much as possible, that is to say the continuous elements that create heat losses from the inside to the outside of the house. The insulation material used in this wall cut is squirt cellulose. This is a 100% recycled material that perfectly hugs each of the cavities in the wall for optimal insulation. You have questions?
