Friendly front porch
A front porch with picket railing creates a pleasing welcome to this compact cottage. An enclosed entry provides a nice weather shield and, upon entry, the eye travels upward to the cathedral ceiling which adds a feeling of an enlarged space in the living room. The living room is separated from the kitchen and dining area by pocket doors allowing your choice of open space or separation.
In the sleeping wing, two bedrooms lie on either side of a bathroom with soaker tub and independent shower and share easy access to the hall laundry.
A full basement offers the opportunity for expanded living or storage space.

Although we do no actual construction, the ballpark estimate to build this home in Quebec (Canada) starts at around $180,000.
This estimate is based on professional grade materials and includes ceramic in the foyer, the kitchen and the bathrooms with hardwood flooring throughout the common areas and carpet in the bedrooms.
The kitchen cabinetry is wood grain melamine and this construction estimate to build in Quebec is for a turn key project.
The cost of the land and its excavation, taxes and hook-ups to municipal or other services is not included in the calculation and it is highly recommended to consult local contractors and materials suppliers to get a better idea of the actual cost to build in your area.

I want to know its price. How much does it cost?, please.
Another thing. I want to know if the frames of the windows are made of wood or metal? and the white sides of the windows are they shutters, or just white paint?
The house is wonderfull. I like the garden and so on it is so beautiful. I want it to live there with my daughter.

We do not build the homes but sell the plans and other documents such as materials lists. The various options for the purchase of the plan set include 5 or 8 copies, PDF or CAD files and you will find the prices for these just below the picture on this page.
The windows are framed in wood and the white shutters on either side of the windows are decorative but you could replace them with real shutters if you prefer.
