House plan DUMONT (# 3897) features 4270 sq.ft. arranged over 3 floors, in addition to a double garage, a covered back porch on the ground floor and a partially sheltered terrace upstairs. In addition the basement is finished, but other foundation options are available. The ceilings are 9 feet high on the main floor and upstairs.
The entrance is open to an office (den) and the living room. The latter offers a fireplace as well as 2 built-in bookcases on each side. A bathroom is positioned not far from this area.
The kitchen is well appointed with a wine cellar, a large back kitchen (large pantry), 2 islands, and it is open to the dining room. The latter has a bench against the second island as seats on one side of the table. In addition, a wood stove gives a beautiful atmosphere to this area during an evening with friends or family. Note that this portion of the house, the dining room and the kitchen, receives a lot of natural light through retractable doors. This type of door makes it possible to join indoor and outdoor life during the beautiful summer days! In addition, a practical walk-in mudroom allows you to access the pantry from the garage home entrance to store your grocery bags!
The second floor offers a magnificent master suite. The latter benefits from a private partially covered balcony.
