When we talk about popular cottages, we must emphasize the contribution of the original 2759 for which versions other than this 2759-V1 suggests extremely attractive exteriors and interiors. A must see at www.drummondhouseplans.com.
As for 2759-V1, with its extra (3) three-foot width, it suggests an enlarged kitchen with even more counter and storage space. The 10’4” extra depth, is attributable to the new solarium space at the back of the house, accessible through the dining room.
On the second floor, the extra 3-foot width is entirely devoted to the bath room which has a separate shower of 54 in. by 64” as well as an area for the toilet and wash basin. These changes make the second floor more functional.
Outdoors, this version offers a brick-stone finish on a good part of the main façade and leaves the possibility, if so desired, to perpetuate with this material all the way to above the gable above the main entrance. For you to decide!
