It takes more than cottages to answer to the needs of today’s ‘baby boomers’ and Drummond House Plans is pleased to offer this plan amongst our many single storey models that aims to answer their specific needs.
With its 1,276 sq. ft of living space on the main floor, a 360 sq. ft. Garage and resistant materials such as brick-stone and imitation cedar shingles finishing its classic exterior, this bungalow will meet the occupants’ aging in place needs.
The entrance foyer is surprisingly roomy. The brightly lit family area in front and the master bedroom have been strategically designed to place the windows for ease in arranging the pieces of furniture within.
The layout includes an open activities area, kitchen with island and well fenestrated dining room that includes a triple patio door to the garden. There is a separate laundry area and a second bedroom, which can be used as a home office, and a well appointed bathroom with both corner bath and a corner shower.
The garage is accessible from the inside or outside and could easily be enlarged if required.
