Affordable Modern Farmhouse style bungalow house plan offering a large covered rear terrace and a garage!
The SOMERSET house plan (#2405) offers 1352 sq.ft. on the ground floor and the same in the unfinished basement, with the exception of the laundry room which is there. A 365 sq.ft. one-car garage is attached to the house and has direct access to the mudroom which is convenient when you arrive home with your shopping.
The entire ground floor offers 9' high ceilings and a 12'-7'' cathedral ceiling in the dining room. The latter receives beautiful natural light provided by the two large windows and the patio door. In addition, the patio door from the dining room leads directly to the covered terrace that measures 11' x 18'-6'' which makes it large enough to set up a dining area and a small lounging room.
The kitchen includes a good-sized island and a pantry, and it is open to the dining room on one side and to the living room on the other. The latter offers a fireplace and you will also find a beautiful bench seating area on the front window, an ideal little corner to lose yourself in a good book!
The bedrooms are located at the back of the house. The parents' bedroom has a walk-in closet and private access to the family bathroom. This one offers a relaxing bathtub area facing the back window, a large glass shower and two separate sinks. The laundry room is planned in the basement.
