A very bright split level house plan offering 1 to 3 bedrooms
By offering a split entrance and direct access to the basement, this model, plan # 2131 also named The Cap, is more like a two-storey house than a single-storey house. Indeed, its abundant fenestration, its large side/rear terrace in the back and its exposed daylight / walkout basement make it a very luminous house.
The lobby is large and offers a convenient coat closet located nearby. The good size living room receives natural light from windows located at the front and on the side of it. Moreover, an imposing fireplace located centrally, will contribute to the ambience of the living room as well as to the kitchen / dining area. A good size dining area provides lots of natural light and direct access to the large side terrace through French doors, and is large enough to accommodate a table for 6 people. The L-shaped kitchen features a large island and again, windows over the kitchen sink, for lots of natural light.
The master bedroom is conveniently located on the ground floor, right next to a large bathroom. This last is segmented with a bath-shower and laundry on one side, and toilet, sink and linen closet on the other.
The basement is accessible from the ground floor, but also directly from the outside via a covered staircase. This could allow, if your municipality offers you this option, to set up a bachelor or dwelling in the basement (income property ?). Two to three bedrooms, a shower room and a family room are located in the daylight / walkout basement.
