From her childhood, Mélissa was already quite interested in house plan drawing. She also took part in a rally called « Rallye Aicha des Gazelles » for the first time in 2009 and again in the spring of 2024. This annual rally brings together women from all over the world. It is a car race where navigation and orientation are essential. It celebrates values that are dear to her such as courage, perseverance and team spirit. Being very artistic, and although she is curious by nature and constantly on the lookout for a new project, she opted for a training certificate in construction management which would allow her to have excellent construction knowledge. She really enjoys site management and has already acquired more than 15 years of experience in construction estimation. On a more personal level, she carried out a renovation project for her family including converting and extending a traditional house in order to transform it into a intergenerational home.

Mélissa enjoys including much warmth in the homes that she creates which is why she likes farmhouse and classic styles that are often distinguished by their timelessness. She also really appreciates European architectural history and also has an interest in Scandinavian, mid-century & Californian-inspired houses. It is therefore not surprising that her favorite plans from the Drummond House Plan collection are the Pinot, Maveryk, Maple Way 2 and Sunny Heaven models. Four very popular house plans that offer warmth and that will evolve well over time.

Her main motto regarding the interior design she prones for her house plans: efficiency! She offers her customer, when possible, airy kitchens with a pantry, master suites with a walk-in closet and private bathroom, and finally... very few hallways which, according to her are a waste of space. And before we forget… she loves open floor plans where the warmth of the exterior style (country, Scandinavian, classic) are also transposed inside, allowing for memorable evenings with family and friends.

A nature-loving woman, Mélissa loves hunting, mountain biking and outdoor backpack trips. She prefers this style of travel to the all-inclusive resort style vacation. She likes to visit remote and non-standard areas such as Morocco, Costa Rica, Curaçao and Guadeloupe to satisfy her taste for adventure.

Newly arrived in the Drummond House Plan family (2024), Mélissa promises to be attentive to your needs and respond to them to the best of her abilities and knowledge. As she likes to say... "If you can dream it, you can do it"! She will do everything in her power to plan your dream home!
