Mountainous region cottage style chalet house plan
Warmly covered in wood (or imitation wood) on walls and tin on the roof, this chalet blends in very well with the countryside by its shape as well as the colors and textures used.
A large terrace is accessible from both the living room and the dining room thereby increasing the pleasure of living in communion with the panorama. And, on the second level, a balcony offers a very surprising view from the master bedroom.
On the main level at one extremity, the kitchen opens to a dining room so as to put in value a ceiling where it is possible to add false beams, while at the other extremity, a living room, bathed in light, is adorned with a cathedral ceiling and an abundant fenestration which blends in well. A bedroom as well as a half-bath completes this floor.
On the upper level, two bedrooms, one of which is a rather comfortable master bedroom, share a bathroom and a small corner of the mezzanine which opens to the living room below.
The basement, for its part, allows for the layout of many other rooms, being that its format is equivalent to the main level living space.
