Other useful information on this plan

Ecological house plan with one bedroom, a greenhouse and a one-car garage!

For a minimalist and evolving lifestyle: Created for an orientation to the north, tiny house plan PUR 2 (# 90101-V1) has everything to meet your minimalist needs in addition to being able to evolve over time! The base of this house corresponds to tiny home plan PUR (# 90101), which contains a kitchen and dining room, a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, a mechanical room and even a greenhouse. This cozy home is on a budget while including all the essentials of a home. The basic plan allows you to evolve towards the PUR 2 model (# 90101-V1) which consists of adding a garage on the left side, while retaining the greenhouse.

The second evolution or version planned corresponds to the PUR 3 house (# 90101-V2) which consists of adding two bedrooms on the right side. Just remove the window above the office area to create a passageway to access these additional bedrooms. If you are planning to have children, this option is very interesting. In addition, this extension could have other functions such as a training room or an office depending on your needs. For this version the garage is removed, but could easily be added via our modification service.

Finally, the last phase of the evolution is the addition of a garage as can be seen in the PUR 4 model (#90101-V3). Your car can sleep warm or you can use this space to DIY small projects and maintain your greenhouse. At the same time as adding the garage, you can also add solar panels to the roof of the greenhouse to be more energy self-sufficient.

Obviously, you can add the different evolutions in any order you like and when you want. The evolving concept of the different versions of the PUR house is perfect to evolve according to your needs and your budget. This concept then allows you to build your dream home over time and avoid a lot of mistakes and compromises since everything is thought out in advance!

Distinctive elements

Plan with ecological thinking:
wall composition with better energy efficiency.
House that can adapt to narrow land.
Small one-bedroom ecological and contemporary house plan with garage.
Master bedroom overlooking the sunroom.
Small reading nook above master bedroom, overlooking the fireplace.
Open floor plan concept with computer desk.
Full bathroom with stacked washer and dryer.
---
To ensure superior insulation for each of our ecological homes, the walls are made of a double frame of 2x4 spaced 24 inches apart. The amount of wood needed is therefore similar to that of a traditional house that uses 2x6 spaced every 16 inches. In addition, these two walls are also staggered in order to cut thermal bridges as much as possible, that is to say the continuous elements that create heat losses from the inside to the outside of the house. The insulation material used in this wall cut is squirt cellulose. It is a 100% recycled material that perfectly hugs each of the wall cavities for optimal insulation.
