Lakefront Cottage house plan with 3 to 4 bedrooms, 2 fireplaces and 2 family rooms
Developed with "green thinking" similar to model 3950 to create a budget friendly alternative. This plan provides a well designed floor plan with an abundance of windows in back whose facade can be given a south orientation to enhance passive energy from the sun. Eco-friendly choice of materials includes a steel roof for enhanced longevity and superior performance.
Living space is maximized throughout the two story plan and ecological enhancements include fireplaces on the two levels for substantial savings on heating costs. The main foyer in front can be completely closed off from the living area to keep the outside temperatures, either too hot or too cold, from entering.
The main level has an open floor plan with 10' ceilings throughout and a master suite, a full bathroom and well appointed kitchen with an island. Two additional bedrooms in the basement along with a shower room and a separate laundry/mechanical area and a second living room help to maximize the interior space for enhanced enjoyment!
