Small popular cottage in a new eco-friendly version!

Inspired by our plan Great Espace, (plan #1904) this tiny home is an ecological and revisited version of this first one. The walls have been thickened to guarantee better insulation and the windows have been revised to make it a passive solar house.

Designed for a south backyard orientation at best, this tiny home conserves the striking features of the original plan while offering new, more optimal and eco-friendly ideas. First of all, this slab designed tiny home maximizes every square foot. You will find the entrance on the west side of the house with a mechanical room and storage space. There is then the open living area with kitchen, dining room and living room overlooking the south side of the house. On the northeast side, we find two bedrooms and a full bathroom. The slanted roof of this home is mirrored in the inside with a cathedral ceiling throughout to give a great sense of openness and volume.

This tiny house could very well serve as a fully equipped and well-designed cottage home. Its simple shape and its maximized square footage guarantee you a durable and affordable construction for your project.
---

Distinctive elements

Eco-friendly and economic small chalet plan.
Floor plan designed to accommodate 6 people.
Open area to the kitchen, dining room and living room.
Sloped ceiling.
Beautiful large sheltered balcony.
---
To ensure superior insulation for each of our ecological homes, the walls are made of a double frame of 2x4 spaced 24 inches apart. The amount of wood needed is therefore similar to that of a traditional house that uses 2x6 spaced every 16 inches. In addition, these two walls are also staggered in order to cut thermal bridges as much as possible, that is to say the continuous elements that create heat losses from the inside to the outside of the house. The insulation material used in this wall cut is squirt cellulose. It is a 100% recycled material that perfectly hugs each of the wall cavities for optimal insulation.
